My friend has to use a long cable that goes all the way thru his house to connect to his router to get internet, xbox live. I just bought an xbox 360 elite and i dont want to have to do the same thing. Is there some way that i can connnect it to my wireless connection? Is there some kind of adapter or something i should by seperately?

I have a D-Link router and I just got a Xbox 360. I would like to connect my Xbox to my internet to my internet but it doesn’t work. Do I need a adapter or a cable running from my Xbox?
All the settings are default and nothing has been tweaked.
Any helpful answers are appreciated

I know about the VGA cables that microsoft provides to make the xbox connect to a monitor, but they still have those big, clunky audio cables attached. How am I supposed to listen to the audio from the XBOX 360 with those? I need one of those tiny headphone-type connectors…
Also, I would like to be able to switch between my computer and the xbox on the same monitor and speaker setup without changing the wires every time.
Is this possible?

I am trying to connect my xbox 360 to xbox live. The only way to do that without buying the 100 wireless adapter is to run it to the computer in my room. My computer connects to the internet wirelessly.

I am having trouble getting my ps3 to connect through a wired connection straight to my modem. I simply plug the cable straight into my laptop and friends have done so as well. With the PS3 however it says connection failed. I never set up an encryption for it since its not a wireless network.

I have a Sony crt hdtv from 2004, with one dvi input and two component inputs. I do not have it hooked up to a stereo receiver, all audio goes through the tv.
Currently I have two devices demanding the components (game consoles), and my dish receiver taking the dvi, using an hdmi to dvi cord and a left/right audio cable.
Enter a new device, the ps3. The ps3 can be attached via component or hdmi, but as you can see I’ve run out of space. I would love suggestions as to the best way of getting all my devices to work together.
