Part 1 of 2. Classic Game Room reviews EARTH DEFENSE FORCE INSECT ARMAGEDDON for PS3 Playstation 3, also available for Xbox 360. From Vicious Cycle and D3, EDF returns with this explosive entry into the Earth Defense Force Series. While lacking some of the scale and one liners that made 2017 so awesome, EDF Insect Armageddon has similar gameplay and some teriffic co-op career and survival modes that can be played locally or online. Choose from one of four character classes, destroy bugs and robots and level up while buying new guns that you find after destroying bosses! EDF! EDF! This CGR video review of Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon has gameplay from the PS3 version of Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon showing video game play in HD action. If you are looking for a video review of Earth Defence Force and spelled D-Fence wrong, here’s the video fo’ you!

Classic Game Room HD – BRUNSWICK PRO BOWLING Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews BRUNSWICK PRO BOWLING for Nintendo Wii. Bowl like a professional in a championship… sort of, well, maybe…. bowl on your Wii with this game from Crave and Far Sight, the same team who brought us the awesome Williams Pinball Hall of Fame. Although not as strong of an offering as their pinball games, Brunswick may have what bowling fanatics crave. Create a character and play through a tournament or against a friend. Brunswick Pro Bowling uses the Wiimote (although not as well as Wii Sports Bowling from Nintendo). Earn money and respect, spend that cash on new clothing items and bowling balls. Level your character up and improve their skills. While this is far from a perfect game it may appeal to those of you looking for a bowling championship style game. Personally I’d recommend Gottlieb or Williams Pinball Hall of Fame on PS2 or Wii. This CGRHD review of Brunswick Professional Bowling has gameplay footage from Brunswick Pro Bowling for Wii. Classic Game Room HD – SUPER SLAM Wii BAT review

Watch in High Definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews the SUPER SLAM Wii BAT for the Nintendo Wii from G6 Solutions. Perfect for games like Wii Sports Baseball, this plastic baseball bat add-on for your Nintendo Wii controller is a fun way to play Wii games where you swing a bat. It gives a bit of weight to the Wiimote and also allows you to judge the angle of the bat and where it is pointing before and after a swing. While it does not have the heavy-duty, solid construction found with Nintendo produced products, this accessory is ideal for kids and those looking to play Wii baseball games with more authenticity. Painted in a wood-colored finish, the Wii controller fits into the bat snugly and pops out with ease. Screws apart for easy transport and can even be used to smash things, provided those things are light and easily smashable. The Super Slam Wii Bat is a good stocking stuff for your baseball loving friends and kids and does not require batteries, food or even shelter. It takes care of itself. Much like real bats. Another awesome Nintendo Wii bat hardware review from Classic Game Room!

Classic Game Room HD – MADWORLD for Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews MADWORLD for Nintendo Wii published by Sega! This review has Madworld gameplay footage from Sega’s Madworld for Nintendo Wii showing Madworld being played in HD (upconverted from component). What a game! Who complains about the lack of violent, explosive, action packed video games on the Wii with games like Mad World? The gameplay in Mad World is fast paced, violent, over the top and completely insane. It’s like playing a living comic book. Sin City, Hard Boiled and numerous other dark, black and white comics come to mind (although Hard Boiled was in color, the environment, detail and carnage feel familiar). Madworld puts your character in the ultra violent game show of the future, like The Running Man. Except all is not as it seems and Madworld has an interesting plot to compliment the uber violent nature of the game. The graphic novel style and unique Nintendo Wii controllers enhance the experience with a unique sci-fi horror feel and excitement. It’s like The Running Man meets Escape from New York. Whip you Wiimote around to impale people on spikes or crush them in garbage cans. Bloodthirsty hordes of drugged out mungheads wander the streets of Deathwatch waiting to be cut in half with a chainsaw. Evil Dead 2 anyone? Madworld should appeal to anyone looking for an action packed, blood soaked free-for-all on the Wii which has good controls and excellent graphics and gameplay. Not for young children or those scared of cartoonish blood. Marks

Classic Game Room HD – Wii SPORTS GOLF review

Classic Game Room HD reviews Wii SPORTS GOLF for the Nintendo Wii video game console! This Wii Sports Golf review shows gameplay and the basic layout of this excellent game which uses the Wii controller to great effect. Don’t have the time, money or motivation to actually go outside and golf for real? Pick this game up for your Wii and putt, drive and golf in the comfort of your own home. Wii Sports Golf has the traditional graphic styling of the Nintendo created Wii games, where the characters look like little Fisher Price figures. The controls are excellent and the 9 hole course is varied enough to keep the game interesting and give it replay value. You swing the Wii controller like a golf club, hit the ball with a designated amount of force and drive the ball where it needs to go. Then putt it into the hole and attempt to get a score of par or lower. Classic Game Room reviews Wii video games and has numerous Wii reviews. Classic Game Room HD – SMASH CARS for Playstation 3 review

Classic Game Room HD reviews SMASH CARS for Playstation 3 PS3. This download game from Playstation Network for the PS3 is like the modern day equivalent of RC Pro Am on the NES. Race remote controller cars around tracks full of obstacles, jumps and hazards. The gameplay is a cross between a Super Mario Kart “Kart” style racer and a demolition, combat racer like Fatal Inertia or Burnout Paradise. There are 3 different chassis to choose from and numerous RC car style bodies. Pull off tricks in the air to earn stars and nitrous boost. Fans of fun, outrageous racing games should check this one out, no simulation racing here. This CGR review of Smash Cars has gameplay from the PS3 video game Smash Cars showing game play video from Smash Cars in action on Playstation 3.

Hands On: Rec Room Games (Wii)

Another minigame collection for the Wii. And they suck. They suck hard. The labyrinth was okay but I failed. The ring toss was boring and random. The bowling was way more stupid then the Wii Sports version, and the football game… well you see that the CPU was horrible, and it looked like I sucked, but the control was just awful. Maybe it’s more fun if you play it with others, but I think you have to be reaaaaaally drunk to enjoy this game.

Classic Game Room – DREAMCAST COLLECTION for Xbox 360 review

Classic Game Room reviews the DREAMCAST COLLECTION for Xbox 360 from Sega, a collection of four classic Sega Dreamcast games that includes Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 Part 2. This bare bones collection delivers some great games at an affordable price, but serious Dreamcast fans probably already own at least one of these games. Space Channel 5 Part 2 is probably the only one that doesn’t live in your collection. Those interested in getting into Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure or Space Channel 5 should consider this Dreamcast Collection from Sega. Others may want to buy a Dreamcast and collect the real games. This CGR review of the Sega Dreamcast Collection has gameplay from the Dreamcast Collection on Xbox 360 showing Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 gameplay in HD action.

Classic Game Room HD – ALIEN INVADERS PLUS! on Magnavox O2

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of ALIEN INVADERS PLUS! for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 video game console. Also known as the Philips Videopac G7000, this classic retro arcade style old school game system has some real gems. Is Alien Invaders Plus one of them? At first glance this game looks a lot like Space Invaders, the 1980’s arcade classic, and made even more popular on the Atari 2600. It’s got a lot in common with Space Invaders and Demon Attack, but is also very different. Sure you shoot aliens with laser beams and stuff like that, but the scoring is different, the gameplay and footage are different, the graphics are a bit sharper but other things aren’t as good… basically it’s different. A worthy old school classic video game though and one to add to your Magnavox Odyssey 2 collection if you have one. This game is not available on any other game consoles, like Colecovision, Atari 7800, Wii, Xbox 360 XBLA or Playstation 3 PS3. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The reviews on the HD series are reviewing PS3, PS2, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360. XBLA. videos review reviews show
